This is an original watercolor painting of the 2004 Michigan Wolverines uniform designed to honor the Wistert brothers (Francis, Albert, and Alvin) who all wore the #11 uniform while playing for the Wolverines in the 1930's and 1940's.

This is an original, one-of-a-kind watercolor painting of the 2004 Michigan Wolverines uniform designed to honor the Wistert brothers (Francis, Albert, and Alvin) who all wore the #11 uniform while playing for the Wolverines in the 1930's and 1940's and was used in the creation of this Michigan Wolverines uniform evolution print and thousands of Michigan products that have been sold across North America. This original piece of art was painted by artist Nola McConnan for Maple Leaf Productions Ltd.

Some History

This painting depicts the #11 University of Michigan football team uniform. No Michigan player wore the #11 in 2004; this was designed to honor the Wistert brothers (Francis, Albert, and Alvin) who all wore the #11 while playing for the Wolverines. Francis sported the #11 from 1931-33, Albert from 1940-42, and Alvin from 1947-49; all three brothers are enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame:
