This website has been designed to sell original watercolor paintings of historic sports uniforms and original pen and ink aerial views of stadiums that were used in the creation of tens of thousands of licensed sports products that have been sold across North America. A select handful of artists worked over a period of more than twelve years to create what is one of the largest collections of original sports art in the world - almost 1500 heritage uniforms from the NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA and CFL were painstakingly painted in watercolor and another 300+ aerial view images of ballparks, stadiums and arenas were meticulously hand drawn in pen and ink. The research that went into the creation of these original pieces of art was immense – a labor of love that took the better part of a decade. The original watercolor paintings, and the pen and ink drawings, are owned by the artists, and in mid 2009 they decided to make many of their original pieces of art available for sale to sports fans and art collectors - thus Heritage Sports Art and HeritageSportsArt.com were created.
This site shows you the over 1800 pieces of original art - you may search by league, team name or city. As you will see, each piece of art can be purchased in one of two or three formats - as raw art or in one or two framed options. There is only one original of each piece of art, and when it is sold, that item is sold out forever. Please act now to avoid disappointment.
